கரூர் பெருந்துயர் - ஆழ்ந்த இரங்கல்

சமீபத்தில் கரூரில் நடந்த தமிழக வெற்றிக் கழகத்தின் தேர்தல் பரப்புரையின் போது கூட்ட நெரிசலில் சிக்கி உயிரிழந்த 41 பேரின் குடும்பத்தாருக்கு ராச்சஸ்டர் வட்டாரத் தமிழர் அமைப்பு சார்பாக ஆழ்ந்த இரங்கல்களைத் தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறோம். இனி இது போன்ற அசம்பாவிதங்கள் நடக்காதவண்ணம் தேவையான நடவடிக்கைகளை எடுக்கவேண்டும் என்று தமிழ்நாடு அரசையும், காவல்துறையையும் கேட்டுக்கொள்கிறோம். காவல்துறை விதித்த விதிமுறைகளை முறையாகப் பின்பற்றி தொண்டர்களைப் பாதுகாக்க வேண்டும் என்று தவெக நிர்வாகிகளிடம் வேண்டுகோள் விடுக்கிறோம்.

On behalf of the The Tamils of Greater Rochester, we extend our deepest condolences to the families of the 41 people who tragically lost their lives in the crowd crush during the Tamil Nadu Vetri Kazhagam’s recent election campaign in Karur.

We urge the Government of Tamil Nadu and the police department to take the necessary measures to prevent such tragedies in the future. We also appeal to the leadership of the Tamil Nadu Vetri Kazhagam to strictly follow the safety regulations set forth by the police and ensure the protection of their supporters.
